Design code
Clean geometry. Balanced proportions. Surfaces that reveal their character over time: mirror polish, brushed textures, and subtly hammered finishes. Craft & materials
Conceived in-house, refined through CAD precision and iterative prototyping, then hand-finished by select ateliers in Italy and Germany. We work exclusively in recycled 18k gold; chosen pieces include diamonds sourced with care. Made-to-order ensures meticulous attention while minimizing waste. Typical client lead time is 2–4 weeks. Founder's note
Prévaut began with a family heirloom: my great-grandfather’s pocket watch, engraved simply with "Prévaut", still ticking nearly a century later. It taught me what endures: clarity of form, honest materials, and work done properly.
Years later, my partner’s search for a piece with subtle sophistication and versatility revealed a frustrating gap: men's jewelry was either ostentatiously flashy or disappointingly flimsy. There was nothing that moved seamlessly from smart evenings to casual coffee dates.
I set out to build what was missing, spending months finding ateliers in Italy and Germany with the traditional skills and obsessive attention to detail our designs demanded. The result is jewelry that does what that old pocket watch taught me it should: enhance the confidence and presence of the man who wears it, but never announce itself.
